Autostradale Bus Cancellation Policy

  • If a passenger wishes to cancel a reservation, it must be done at least 48 hours prior to the departure time of the bus.

  • For cancellations made within 48 hours before departure, no refund will be given.

  • In case Autostradale cancels a bus trip, passengers will be notified as soon as possible and offered the choice between a full refund of the ticket cost or an alternative trip of equal value.

  • If an alternative trip is not possible or wanted by the passenger, a full refund will be provided within 14 days of cancellation notification.

  • Refunds are only issued to the original payment method used during the booking.

  • If the bus trip is delayed for more than 90 minutes, or in case of overbooking, passengers are entitled to full compensation as well as assistance (i.e. meals, refreshments) depending on the waiting time.

  • In the event of significant delay, passengers could be entitled, under European law, to compensation up to 50% of the ticket price if Autostradale fails to offer an alternative journey which gets you to your final destination within a reasonable time.

  • If illness or another unforeseeable scenario prevents a passenger from traveling, the terms of cancellation depend upon the fare conditions of the chosen rate. To avoid any financial disadvantages, it is advisable to contract appropriate travel cancellation insurance.

Autostradale Luggage Policy:
  • Each passenger can carry on-board a free hand luggage of a maximum weight of 5kg and of the following dimensions: 45cm x 35cm x 20cm.
  • Larger and heavier pieces of luggage should be stored in the luggage compartment beneath the bus.
  • Each passenger is eligible to store a maximum of 2 larger pieces of luggage in the bus compartment, for a total weight not exceeding 30kg.
  • All luggage must be properly tagged with the passenger's name, address and contact details.
  • Luggage stored in the compartment is not insured by Autostradale. Passengers must have their own travel insurance to protect their belongings.
Extra Taxes:
  • Generally, Autostradale doesn’t charge for luggage unless the weight or size is excessive.
  • Any additional luggage that counts as a third piece or more is subject to a surcharge, the cost of which is determined by the size and weight of the luggage.
Allowed and Non-Allowed Items:
  • Allowed: Personal effects, Clothes, Books, Compact personal items, Small musical instruments are allowed on Autostradale buses.
  • Non-Allowed: Firearms and other weapons, Explosives, Chemical substances, Animals (except for guide and assistance dogs), Objects with sharp edges or points that may harm the other passengers or damage other luggage.
